The File Work can’t prepare an image for these requirements
Good to know
Cropping isn’t possible here: your image is smaller than the required size in one direction, and The File Work doesn’t enlarge images.
The borders stay transparent, like the rest of your image.

How it works
- Choose your image.
- The maximum size is already set to 100 KB under “I know what I need”. Click Create file.
- Download your image, checked to be 100 KB or smaller.
What “100 KB” means here
The File Work counts 1 KB as 1,000 bytes, so your file will be at most 100,000 bytes. That also passes forms that count 1 KB as 1,024 bytes.
Will it still look good?
For a typical phone photo, 100 KB is a big reduction. The File Work lowers the quality only as far as needed, then reduces the dimensions if it must. It won’t drop to an unreasonably low quality: if 100 KB can’t be reached sensibly, it tells you instead of producing a ruined image.
Uploading to a form?
If the form also lists accepted formats or dimensions, choose Requirements and paste them. The File Work checks every rule at once and tells you if one can’t be met.
