The official size, and only what can be checked
The Spanish DNI (Real Decreto 255/2025) and passport (Real Decreto 896/2003) both ask for a recent colour photo of 26 × 32 mm (width × height), taken from the front, on a plain white background, with the head uncovered and no dark glasses.
The File Work makes the exact size and tells you if the background doesn’t look white (it can replace it with plain white if you ask) or the photo lacks detail. It can’t judge your expression or pose.
