For both the DNI and the passport, the rules ask for a recent colour photo of the face, 32 × 26 mm (26 mm wide, 32 mm high), with a plain, uniform white background, taken from the front, with no dark glasses or anything that makes identification harder. The DNI rules also say the head must be uncovered.

Print settings
- Choose “Actual size” or 100%.
- Don’t use “Fit to page”: it changes the size.
Then
- Cut along the corner guides.
- Plain paper works; photo paper looks better.
How many copies
8 standard photos, 2 large + 8 standard, or the whole page filled with up to 42. Every option is shown with your own photo.
Your own mix of sizes
Choose “Create my own mix” and say how many Small, Medium, Large and Extra large photos you want. The File Work packs them on the sheet for you, no dragging.
Questions
How do I print at the correct size?
Open the A4 PDF and choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog.
Should I select “Fit to page”?
No. It scales the page, so the photos come out the wrong size.
How many copies fit on A4?
Up to 42 standard 26 × 32 mm photos. You can also choose 8, or 2 large + 8 standard.
Can I print Extra large photos?
Yes, on A4: 2 per page, with “Create my own mix”.
